About The Bee Clan
Our passion for honeybees began several years ago, inspired by a close friend's transition from hobbyist to full-time beekeeper. As the friendship blossomed, we became increasingly fascinated by the vital role beekeeping plays in the U.S. economy and agricultural sustainability. More importantly, we became extremely concerned about the declining honeybee population which ignited our desire to make a difference and get involved in this important cause.
In early 2024 we acquired a beautiful tract of farm land in Fort McCoy, Florida which is now home to the Bee Clan Family Farm. The primary Farm operation is to keep and raise European Honeybees. To augment the great variety of wild flowers and native trees and shrubs in Northeast Marion County, we also plant and propagate several other native Florida native shrubs, flowers, and trees for our bees to feast upon.
Our colonies are primarily being raised for maximum honey production which will be harvested, jarred, and sold locally and on this website.
In addition to our estate harvested Honey, we have also formed relationships with several other Florida Beekeepers. Under the Bee Clan Family Farm label, we are packaging and selling their excess honey and other related products. Through these same relationships we also offer up our hives for pollinations services both within and outside the State of Florida.
